Comparison

Tend vs Zoho, Bitrix24 and other general CRMs

Horizontal CRMs used by many UAE brokerages because they are cheap, familiar and highly configurable.

Short answer

A general CRM will be cheaper on the licence line and will do almost anything you are willing to configure. The cost lands elsewhere: someone has to build and maintain the real estate shape, and the CRM still only records what your agents did rather than answering the lead itself. Tend arrives already modelling Dubai off-plan and does the first response for you.

Our bias, stated up front: We build Tend, so we are not a neutral party. We have tried to describe the alternative accurately and to say plainly where it is the better choice. Everything about the other product comes from their public website and pricing pages on the date shown; if we have got something wrong or out of date, email hello@tend.ae and we will correct it.

How we compare: We compare on the things a Dubai brokerage actually feels in the first month: how fast a new WhatsApp enquiry gets answered, whether off-plan inventory can be modelled properly, whether the pipeline matches how UAE deals really close, and what it costs per month for a small team. Competitor details verified August 2026.

Choose Zoho, Bitrix24 and other general CRMs if…

Choose a general CRM if you have in-house capacity to configure and maintain it, if you need one system across departments beyond property sales, or if licence cost is the binding constraint and slow lead response is not.

Choose Tend if…

Choose Tend if nobody on your team wants to own a CRM configuration project, or if the actual problem is that WhatsApp enquiries sit unanswered until morning. A general CRM will not fix that, however well you configure it.

Common questions

We already use Zoho. Is switching disruptive?

Listings and leads import by CSV and we do the field mapping during onboarding. Some agencies keep the old system read-only for a month rather than cutting over at once.

Can Tend replace our whole CRM?

For the property sales side, yes. If you use one CRM across departments beyond property, keeping it for those and running Tend on the sales front end is a reasonable arrangement.

Is Tend more expensive?

On the licence line, sometimes. The comparison worth doing is against the configuration time a general CRM needs plus the leads that go unanswered outside office hours, which is where the difference actually shows up.
