How to import your listings from a CSV file

Tend answers buyers from your own listings, so the first job is getting them in. You can import a CSV file or add listings one by one.

Prepare the CSV file

Use a CSV file with a header row. Only title is required. The Listings page shows every column Tend recognises, including:

ref, title, area, listing_type, status, bedrooms, bathrooms, size_sqft, price_aed, handover, payment_plan, amenities, agent_email, notes

• listing_type is sale or rent (sale if left empty).
• status is available if left empty.
• agent_email assigns the listing to the agent with that email, so enquiries about it go to them.

Import it

1. In the Tend menu, open Properties. The Listings tab opens first.
2. Click Import CSV and choose your file.
3. Tend creates the listings straight away and shows how many were created and skipped. A row without a title is skipped, and the first 20 skipped rows are listed so you can fix them.

There is no preview step, so check the file before you import it.

Add a listing by hand

Click + Add listing. Only the title is required, but the more you fill in, the more precisely Tend can answer. The Details section (floor, handover, furnishing, parking, service charge) is what Tend uses to answer specific questions instead of saying it will confirm.

Photos can be added after the listing is saved (JPG, PNG or WebP, under 8 MB each).

Off-plan units

If your workspace has off-plan switched on, Properties › Units has its own Import CSV with a CSV template to download. Each row needs a project and a unit_no. Only admins can import units.
