How to add agents and give them a login

Agents are the people Tend hands conversations to. Each one can also have their own login.

Add an agent

1. In the Tend menu, under Manage, open Team. The People tab opens first.
2. Click + Add agent.
3. Enter their Name and Email. Keep Active — can receive new leads ticked.
4. Click Save.

Adding an email gives the agent a login: Tend emails them a link to choose their own password, and confirms on screen that the invite was sent. If the email cannot be sent, Tend shows the link so you can copy it to the agent yourself.

You can also add an agent without an email. Leads can still be assigned to them, but they have no login, and no alerts or reminders can reach them.

Give a login later

For an agent you added without an email, click Give login on their row, enter their Login email and click Send invite.

Good to know

• An agent's login shows only their own leads and listings.
• Each agent login counts towards the seats on your plan.
• Revoke login on the agent's row removes their access, hands their open leads back, and stops new leads going to them.
• Only admins can add agents and give logins.
